<p>Tchisla is a captivating number puzzle developed by the creators of Euclidea. Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of numbers and enhance your mental arithmetic skills. The objective is to represent numbers as arithmetic expressions using only one digit from 1 to 9. This can be achieved in multiple ways. You earn more points when your solution uses fewer digits, and sometimes finding the optimal solution feels like an exhilarating quest.</p>

<p>In Tchisla, you are allowed to use standard arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as brackets. You can also extract square roots (√), raise numbers to a power (^), and apply factorials (!). The factorial (n!) means multiplying together all positive integers less than or equal to n.</p>

<p>For instance:</p>

<ul>
  <li>96 can be represented as 99 - √9</li>
  <li>96 can also be 4 * 4!</li>
  <li>96 can be expressed as 2 * 2 * (22 + 2)</li>
  <li>And yet another way to represent 96 is 111 - (1 + 1)^(1 + 1 + 1 + 1) + 1</li>
</ul>

<p>The concept behind Tchisla is simple, but finding the shortest solution can be quite challenging. Try solving puzzles like expressing 64 using only 4 digits or expressing 71 using just 3 digits. Here, 64#4 means you need to express 64 using only the digit 4. Once you find a solution, take a moment to appreciate the beauty of mathematics by examining the formula you have constructed.</p>

<h3>More than just a calculator</h3>
<p>Tchisla may appear as a regular calculator, but it is designed to assist you in tackling these problems. The app suggests autocomplete options that can guide you towards the desired outcome. You have the freedom to choose your path, while the app handles all the tedious calculations. In no time, you will find yourself familiar with various numbers and their properties, including factorials, squares, cubes, prime numbers, roots, and more. Tchisla subtly helps improve your computational skills.</p>

<h3>Game modes</h3>
<ul>
  <li>The Practice mode features a brief tutorial and a selection of fascinating problems to solve using numbers from 1 to 100.</li>
  <li>The "2016" mode challenges you to express the number of the year (2016) using each digit from 1 to 9. Can you beat the world record? This mode comprises a total of 48 digits.</li>
  <li>The Gallery allows you to explore a table of numbers and the count of digits used in their solutions. You can solve new problems and even analyze and improve existing solutions. This will prove beneficial in future challenges as they can be based on solved levels.</li>
</ul>

<p>You have the option to expand the standard Gallery up to 10,000 (through an in-app purchase). This will help you keep track of your progress, current records, and provide quick access to any number or solution. The Extended Gallery consists of 50 sections with 200 numbers each (1,800 exercises).</p>

<p>The Contest mode engages players in regular competitions. A number is announced, and participants have just 24 hours to find the shortest solution using each digit. The gold medal is awarded to those who utilize the fewest digits. Seize this opportunity to earn a top spot in the rankings!</p>

<h3>Gestures and controls</h3>
<ul>
  <li>Swipe left to erase an expression.</li>
  <li>Swipe right to restore a previously saved solution.</li>
  <li>Double-tap on a solution to switch between alternative variants.</li>
  <li>A yellow square indicating the digit count signifies that nobody has found a shorter solution yet. Perhaps you will be the one to break the record?</li>
</ul>
